IDAHO GIVES MAY 2-5
Following are a few suggested character-building gifts, but any amount can be gifted for the purpose of athlete-scholarships.
Soda Pop Races teach local youth skiers to be humble and BRAVE.
$40 covers the cost of all 3 races in the Soda Pop Race Series.
Backcountry Boot Camp teaches snow safety, leadership and WILLINGNESS.
$300 covers the cost of MWSC's 4-Day Backcountry Boot Camp.
After-school programs teach teamwork, responsibility and DISCIPLINE.
$500 for after-school programs at Little Ski Hill; including race, mighty mites, and Air & Style.
Alpine race training and competition teach grit, determination and PURPOSE.
$1,200 for seasonal training tuition at Brundage Mountain or Intermountain Division qualifiers.

SPRING RACE SERIES
Grand Targhee April 8-10
"What an amazing way to end the ski racing season at Grand Targhee Spring Series," says Erik Fisher. "The athletes skied so well and we landed on 4 of 6 podiums. We also enjoyed a little powder skiing when old man winter decided to show up the final day of the season."
MWSC racers wrap up the season at Grand Targhee with a 3-race series; including slalom, giant slalom and kinder kombi.
Tessa Beebe took 6th in Slalom amongst the U14 ladies.

The Kinder Kombi course on Big Thunder at Grand Targhee combined slalom and giant slalom turns and gates with flow, rhythm and air. Racers showed a high degree of tactical awareness - and style.
Bode Lamm took 5th on the Kinder Kombi course amongst the U14 men.

USASA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
Copper Mountain April 9-13
Scout Weiseth represented McCall, Idaho and the Idaho Mountain Freeride Series at the USASA National Championships, hosted at Copper Mountain Resort. Scout took 3rd in the rail jam competition and 15th in slopestyle amongst the Grommet Girls Freeski division.
Stoked for this little lady grom!
